Introduction

WFQ is a Professor-level Senior Engineer and Shougang Grade-2 Scientist affiliated with Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (BSIET), with over 20 years dedicated to intelligent heavy-duty transport equipment technology. He serves as a committee member of the 8th and 9th Metallurgical Equipment Branch of the Chinese Society for Metals (CSM), a member of the National Metallurgical Equipment Standardization Committee, an Intelligent Manufacturing Expert of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), an individual council member and senior technical expert of the China Metallurgical Construction Association, an editorial board member of the journal Metallurgical Equipment, and a member of the Western Returned Scholars Association.

Formerly the General Manager of BSIET's Rolling Mill Division, he was deeply involved in the construction of multiple rolling mill production lines for companies including Shougang Qiangang, Shougang Jingtang and Shougang Cold Rolling.

Starting from the double-row pallet coil transport system, through contactless power supply coil transport, the supercapacitor-powered coil transport vehicle system, the supercapacitor-powered cable-free self-propelled ladle transfer car, to the self-propelled steerable "one-ladle-through" hot metal car — he has remained at the forefront of metallurgical transport equipment technology, driving metallurgical interface equipment from rigidity toward intelligence, flexibility and sustainability through independent innovation.

He has received more than 10 provincial, ministerial and Shougang science and technology awards (6 as first contributor), holds over 90 patents (including US, EU and KR international patents), and has published more than 30 papers.
